Description

Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 Thermal Imaging Front Attachment Kit

(2,500 yards of detection!)

The Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 Thermal Imaging Front Attachment Kit is a combination of a compact thermal imaging module and a Pulsar 3x20B quick-release monocular, that can be used as an eyepiece. With one sweep the hunter gets a three times magnification spotting scope for natural daytime observation and a thermal imaging unit compatible with monocular-type daytime optical devices. The Krypton 2 thermal imaging module docks with daytime optics using a special PSP-B adaptor, converting the day optic into a thermal imaging device. A quick-release adaptor means that the Krypton 2 can be removed from, and re-installed into, a daytime spotting scope or binocular in seconds, while the precise positioning mechanism allows for the central alignment of the thermal image within the daytime optics field of view.

Krypton 2 FXG50 Features:

Full-HD multicolor AMOLED display

Full-HD multicolour AMOLED display

The new FHD full-color AMOLED display is characterized by high contrast, a wide dynamic range, and energy savings. The fast response time ensures a clear and smooth image when observing in motion or freezing conditions.

Adaptable user interface

A new feature for Pulsar thermal imaging attachments is the graphical user interface adaptation. The device menu and status bar positions are scaled by the user to a comfortable view when changing the magnification of the day riflescope to see the current information about the attachment status and operate with the menu in a significant range of magnifications.

Built-in photo and video recorder

Built-in photo and video recorder

The Krypton 2 has a built-in video recorder. The internal memory of Krypton 2 can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. One touch of a button is enough to take a photo of an interesting scene or start recording a video.

Ergonomic Bluetooth remote control

The Pulsar BT wireless Bluetooth remote control completely duplicates the regular buttons. The remote control is characterized by excellent ergonomics − the buttons activate the most requested functions, while the device parameters of fine adjustment and menu navigation are provided by rotating or pressing the encoder. The design, size, and positioning of the buttons and encoder are customized for use with both bare hands and gloved hands.

A selection of 8 colour palettes

A selection of 8 colour palettes

A choice of 8 color palettes lets the user observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimize the unit for specific tasks as well as react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are most suitable for long observation in the night.

Fast aperture germanium lenses

Germanium F50/1.0 and F35/1.0 lenses feature high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. Due to the high-precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image generated by the Krypton 2 thermal attachment sensors is distinguished for its clarity and detailing.

Dual Wi-Fi waveband Support 2.4 / 5 GHz

Dual Wi-Fi waveband support 2.4 / 5 GHz

In Krypton 2 thermal imagers, the standard smartphone connection frequency range via a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel is complemented with an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, a faster data transfer rate, noise immunity, and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal imager with a smartphone.

IPX7 submersion waterproof-rated

IPX7 submersion waterproof rated

IPX7 waterproof-rated for protection from heavy rainfall, snow, or other precipitation. The unit is designed to run flawlessly, even after submersion in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

Operation in extreme temperatures -25 to +50°C

Operation in extreme temperatures -25 to +50°C

The housing, power unit, optics, and electronics of Krypton 2 are designed for applications in a wide range of temperatures. Krypton ensures reliable and effective performance in cold up to -25°C.
